Sameer, of Top Printers bagged top honors in printing field. He was awarded two awards of excellence at a ceremony of Collates 2008 held by Sri Lanka Association of Printers at the BMICH on 24th May 2008. He was awarded all Island 1st Prize in the category of best Brochures, Folders and Leaflets and for the Best News Letters produced in the Year 2006/2007.
Last year he ranked as low as 38th on list of best performers but this year he worked his way to the top, Making him the 3rd best printer in the Island. Sameer has been continuously receiving awards in the Printing field .
He is the only Memon to pursue professional training in printing. He received his diploma in the Management and Supervision of offset printing from Sri Lanka Institute of Printing. In 1999, at the age of 25, he established his own printing press with a small A3 size printing machine "Top Printers".
Today, the press has the state-of-the-art equipment including three German made Heidelberg machines, a high-tech ultra-violet coating machine, a couple of guillotine cutters and an extra large die cutter. It was his pure commitment to achieve this standard in a short period. Although he didn’t have any printing background. His clientele includes some Memons and Indian firms having operations in Sri Lanka. His company has also now started exporting their products to The Maldives and Bring much needed revenue to the Country.
'Top Printers' is emerging as a big name in the field of printing and is committed to serve the customer in every aspect of printing; from designing to delivery of the finished product. Sameer believes in focusing on quality, speed and customer satisfaction. |
